Lindsay’s Day as OD

Posted by on August 5, 2011

Dear OD log,
My last day as OD ; so depressing. I can not believe it is the end of my second CIT year. Well I did the normal OD duties in the morning and I got to drive the golf cart , not once but TWICE. Oh ya!
And I got to fold and lick every single letter home.
Well in the afternoon I got made fun of my by Almu and Arantxa, for not wanting to get in the water. Thanks girls. Good job Emma, Collette and Claire.
I had a beautiful hour off, but I missed evening assembly because I was at the nurse. So I didn’t get to do the roll, it was depressing. Well I have had a great two years being a CIT.
Signing off forever, rest of my life.

Dear OD Log,
My last day of being OD! Tear ;( I can’t believe the summer has gone by so quickly! Today was another beautiful day at Woodland. Regina was camper of the day! Felicidedes! Te quiero! After assembly I did cabin inspections with Wendy. I can’t believe 4 cabins got 30s! Great Job girls! I was a little confused by the water bottles hanging from the ceiling in Hilltop though! You girls are crazy! After a yummy lunch we had a lovely resthour full of Co-ed show practice and showering, Ski help was a BLAST! TUBING! I love being OD because you can go twice ☺ I had a fantastic tube ride with Sam and Corrine. Sam we can do it! Just don’t fall off! And sorry Almu and Aranxa but you can’t go again! I also had good bonding time with Sarah Fischer in between rides reminiscing about past years and how cute it was when my cabin did Maroon 5 for lip sing my second year. Do you know that I have been coming to camp for 54 weeks?
Canteen was in low supply sorry girls. Then it was my hour off and off to coed show practice after dinner.
Signing off for the last time,

Dearest OD Log,
My last time being Od, ever, tear. I had a blast doing my morning duties in the office, no Ana Pau you did not get a bunk note , sorry, maybe tomorrow.
During rec swim there were a lot of skiers and kneeboarder, good job to everyone who tried. Collette and Daphne did a really great job trying to ski for the first time. Then I got to ski for the first time in a while. It was scary, but I made it all the way around surprisingly. I must have been shaking for an hour after skiing from being so weak. I had the best day ever. Go out with a bang Aquarius.
Signing off forever,
PLT

P.S. Are you going to eat that?
P.P.S. CLAV!
P.P.P.S. Just pull anything! Just pull anything!

Sarah’s Day as OD

My Dearest OD Log,
Woodland fair day! Wahoo! My day was absolutely fantastic! I woke up Starshine for their first meal of hopping and they were ecstatic. I started off my OD duties with cabin inspections. Tamarack, I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, Swiss Army for her, YUM! Chelsea, good job on camper of the day, and Liz for counselor of the day, REPRESENT! I cut over 1,000 Woodland dollars and let me just inform you; I have become one with the paper cutter. I stocked Canteen with the best selection I think I’ve ever seen in that shack. Jessica and Mera, good job on winning the clown contest! Donna and Fiona, the TP boys loved you guys too, don’t worry! In fact, great job to all the clowns! I was very entertained! The fair was a load of fun; good job everyone for yet another remarkable turnout! After we sadly said goodbye to out favorite boys from TP, it was time for “everyone dunk the CITs!!” I mean rec swim of course. Cayley, Sam and Molly, your consistent efforts to get me under was almost inspiring, great job on not giving up! Picnic was delicious as always, Aquarius finally got to sit with Sliver Birch, which was a blast; we even tried planning a CIT/Camper sleepover! Maybe next year girls! Holiday in the sun was mesmerizing (boys have cooties) and Co-ed Show practice was the prefect end to an amazing day.
Signing off forever, (tear)
