Dear OD Blog,
I started off the day being woken up by Joanne, since everyone in my cabin forgot to wake up. It was a cloudy and rainy morning so the CITs had to come up with activities to do. We ended up paying human treasure hunt where we all learned about the people in our cabin. Then we played the list game where every cabin brought 15 random items and Emily called items and everyone raced up to her. Lucy and Rosie had a bra showdown (wasn’t that fun to watch!). After rest hour we played Disney hunt where each cabin had to find a different Disney CIT throughout camp, congrats Tamarack for winning! Everyone got annoyed with the 2nd year CITs because we stopped each cabin to make them sing and dance to slow them down a bit! All in all, it was a very eventful and rainy Sunday. Signing off for now,

WELL HOWDY DO SALLY SUE,

I started off the day ringing the bell a few minutes late, WOOPS! Half my cabin left me to go “cloud jumping” at ropes course…it was nice having a cabin of four! Did my usual duties in the office. Dani got attacked by the mosquitoes of the Northwoods. Now she’s planning to cut off her feet, her hands, and her head. BAD PLAN DANI! Later we had cabin night but we didn’t get to go water skiing like we wanted, TRINA! Instead I got to spend a nice long hour shooting out my FANTASTIC ideas for next week’s Song Contest…but they got shot down very quickly. OH WELL!
Signing off for now,
Court Sport

P.S. Can you send a helicopter to get me?

Dear OD Blog,
WOW this is EXCITING! My first time ever being OD! It was pretty nerve racking! I woke up about 6:40 wondering what I was supposed to be doing because no one in my cabin would tell me. Finally at 7:30 I rang the wake up bell and got back on track. At assembly Amanda whispered all the cabin names in my ear for roll call and waited for instructions on what to do next. I did all the usual tasks, and then they ran out of things for me to do so I got to sit in the office and read a book. At rec. swim I did ski help, it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be, I even got Jill to try! She just hurt herself yet again. For my hour off, I sat with my canoeing class and painted my nails black! My first day of being OD was a BLAST! Thanks for helping everyone! Love always,
Pocahontas

Dear OD Blog,
Today we got to sleep in because of a little Woodland Dew but no worries, the clouds cleared up and it ended up being a beautiful day. So after waking up at 8 ad breakfast, Chelsea was awarded camper of the day, YOU GO GIRL! After doing the usual stamping letters, watering flowers, sweeping, vacuuming, and filling camp store requests. Oh yeah, Logan why do you need a toothbrush and toothpaste? Please tell me you have brushed your teeth sometime in the past three weeks! Then I had the interesting job of rinsing out old milk cartons. Smelling like crusty old spoiled milk wasn’t what I had planned. In the afternoon I did ski help, it was so windy and choppy but that didn’t stop those crazy brave Woodland girls from skiing and knee boarding. Then came out my enjoyable hour off. Peace out for now,
Chortlemeister
P.S. Bug juice mustaches. Yummy. It’s like having a popsicle on your face.

Dear OD Blog,
I rose at the usual and rang the bell. Unfortunately, I forgot to wake up the hoppers in Sunrise and our tables weren’t set! What a catastrophe! Then during cleanup Trina found some mysterious hairs in our shower. EW! I did my normal OD duties in the morning even got to drive the golf cart with the super vision of Mrs. J of course. Ski help wasn’t pleasant because of the cold. Of course all the crazy girls in 5th hour went skiing but congrats to all the girls who got around the lake. All in all my day was successful. Minus the straight hour of Across the Universe soundrack my cabin made me listen to before bed. Oh well.
Until next time,
Officer Maggots
