Dear O.D. Log,
This was the most memorable O.D. I’ve had. It was a chilly morning while I went to wake up the Hostess. At a windy and brief assembly, Daphne was camper of the day and normal O.D. duties. After arranging the mail and sweeping the lodge, Melissa asked if I could go to the Sail Race at T.P, and I got to go! After sailing with no wind with Sarah, Tori, and Molly then we went to the lodge for a delicious lunch. Sooner than later I found myself in the freezing sand lake helping girls go tubing. After a successful delivery of canteen and some technical difficulty with the mambo I was enjoying my hour off. But the storm approaching was filling my head with non-relaxing loud thoughts. But luckily activated didn’t stop and I had my cabin all to myself!

I loved the day!

Good night,

Whoachoa

P.S. The E.N girls got back. I missed you girlies!

Dear O.D Log,

Today I woke up and went to ring the bell.  Courtney was hostess but Jordan woke her up. After assembly I went to the office with Mrs.J and I did cabin inspections by myself because Barb wasn’t here. After I went to the office again and had a bunch of newsletters home to sort out and the problem was that most of them didn’t have an envelope or a name. So it was really hard to sort! After rest hour I went to do ski help, good job Sarah who kneeborded for the first time and did a great job. For the fourth period the candy ran out so I went really quickly with Susan to get more candy for the next hour. Then came my hour off, I took a shower and cleaned my drawers.

Well see you next time,

Jimena.

Dear O.D. Log,

As every morning I woke up at 7:30 to ring the bell and I woke up Katie the happy hostess and my cabin the hoppers. In assembly Sam got camper of the day, good job! I did mail and I cleaned all the trashcans, counselor lounge, and the screens in the lodge. Yes, it was a hard day. We had lunch followed by a sleepy rest hour. Next I did ski help and all the girls did an excellent job, then grace in Tamarack decided to splash me for no reason, but whatever because I still had fun. In my hour off I took a long shower and relaxed. It was a good day.

See you next time,

Shantisimo

Dear O.D. Log,

Today was an eventful day, first of all because I forgot to set my alarm and then I forgot the flag in the lodge.  JoAnne said bad things always happen in threes but luckily no other bad things occurred. Nice job cleaning your cabins, starshine and tamarack got 30’s! I found out that I was going to the mixed doubles for tennis at T.P during fourth hour so I was not able to do ski help. But luckily I was back for 5th hour! Ellie was the only one skiing so I didn’t have to get in the lake. At dinner I found out that I was going on E.N. Then to top the day off, the C.I.T’s had our first official coed show practice! Yay!

Signing out,

Bobby Booshea.

Dear O.D. Log,

Like every morning, I managed to get out of my fabulous sheet sleeping bag and ring the bell. I was kind of sleepy but woke up when I saw bagels on the breakfast table. Oh I’m gonna miss them when I’m back in France. Afterwards I went to Silverbirch for observations. The girls where really nice and all did their jobs. I thought I was gonna have time to help Kelly make a nice cute line of tiny shoes in the closet when I remembered that I had to hold assembly and I raced to the flag pole to begin. I did all the usual O.D. activities in the morning plus I got to count all the awards from previous years. I counted 47 horse heads but when I saw another pile of them I gave up and just wrote “LOTS”. Them for lunch we had pasta with tomatoes and cheese which was terrible because  1) I spilled tomatoes on my shorts. 2) I hate cheese. During rest hour I learned the song Sugar Sugar with Silverbirch that they would sing for campfire later tonight. Then rec swim! It was really fun and canteen even more. The girls had a lot of difficulty choosing between a Hershey’s and a Laffy Taffy. Last I spent my hour off fighting with the tomato stain on my shorts. Now cookout and campfire!

Great Day,

Camille
